Aimoko: It was interesting to read this article about your Hawaii exploits, but it is dated 2004. Are you still in the poi business?
Charlotte and I have been in Honolulu briefly a couple of times on cruises. Her son, Paul Reiss, lives on the big island so we try to catch a cruise there from time to time. Next time we do, it’d be nice to give you a call and see if your schedule has room for a little catch-up visit.
As indicated elsewhere on this website, The Poi Company closed its doors in May 2002. The Honolulu Magazine article was from November 1998: you can see from the scan that it had been pinned to the Company bulletin board for quite some time. When the Company went out of business, I took the article down and scanned it.
Aimoku hadn’t been involved with the Company since 1999. I’m afraid we’ve long since lost touch with him.

Hope to hear from you.
