I can’t belive that the recipe is online ……….. I’ve been always buying poi mochi every single Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But now I can just instantly make/bake it.I love it
Hi Christina —
Please let us know how it turns out.
Uncle Lani’s daughter, Charmaine, told me that this recipe was “similar” to the recipe they used.
I just did a Google search for Uncle Lani’s poi mochi and was pleased to see they’re still around: looks like they’re at the Made in Hawaii Festival in August 2009.
I would like to know where I can come and buy already freshly made poi mochi.
Preferably in the town area.
As a mother of 3 and an employee of 2 years, I’ve chosen to attend college for a degree in Medical Assistant. Financially I wasn’t prepared for bi;;s to take a toll on me, so I’ve started fund raising to make ends meet. My fund raiser is poi mochi and it’s turned out well on the windward side, but I live in Honolulu. If you are interested in supporting my cause call 7449898. PLEASE,only for orders.
